History Project

Through generous donations from the Orlando community, we’ve already developed an extensive collection of photographs, memorabilia and artifacts. You can see some of them at the History Project display during Come Out With Pride, or by visiting the website at http://GayOrlandoHistory.com.

The preservation of Central Florida’s history and the accumulation of artifacts will be ongoing. If you have pictures, memorabilia (original t-shirts, awards/trophies, programs, permits/public records, newspaper clips, etc.) or if you have your own composite display to be considered for this year’s exhibit or to be used in the future, please send us an email.

Although Come Out With Pride is focused on celebrating our pride in the here-and-now, we can't forget where we've been. That's why we're so excited about the History Project, dedicated to the preservation of Central Florida's GLBT history and artifacts.
