Paint Orlando Red Marriage Equality Rally

MARRIAGE EQUALITY RALLY
The Lake Eola Bandshell
June 27th, 2013
7:00pm – 10:00pm

Join the Event on Facebook to keep up with real time updates!

LuminaireBagThis event will bring together our entire community – both LGBT citizens, and our Straight Allies – to celebrate and rally our spirits in the wake of the historic Supreme Court Decisions that will be made for the Prop 8 and DOMA court cases heard this year.

The Center Orlando, Human Rights Campaign, Come Out With Pride, American Civil Liberties Union, and Equality Florida invite everyone in Florida and the Southeast Region. Click here for more information.

The Center Orlando’s volunteer staff will be assembling and placing red luminaries around Lake Eola to symbolically “Paint The Town” red. This will be a visually stunning moment to celebrate Marriage Equality, the work that has taken place to get us to the Supreme Court, and to reflect on all of the struggles thus far, and work to be done still. If you would like to sponsor a luminaire, we are providing name tags for each bag that we will use to show your sponsorship! Visit the website for the rally to sponsor your own luminaire.
